Annabel’s Deliciously British

Annabel Makin-Jones has been running her family strawberry business since 2004, dedicated to producing the best Great Britain has to offer. The strawberry farm is located in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and has been supplying fruit for over 14 years.

Annabel’s Deliciously British was born when Annabel established a clear gap in the market for a high quality, socially responsible brand in 2019. The Malling Centenary is the selected variety good enough for Annabel’s Deliciously British strawberries which are planted over a three-month period to ensure they can guarantee quality and continuity of supply for customers throughout the season. Annabel is passionate about ensuring the future of the planet for us all with sustainability being one of the core values. The strawberries are packed into biodegradable punnets or wooden trays with film lids with outer packaging for the smaller punnets being cardboard boxes. They continually strive to lower the carbon footprint of their product, sourcing wherever possible from Great Britain. Annabel’s Deliciously British Strawberries are LEAF, BRC and Red Tractor accredited.

Passionate about driving investment back into the future of British industry and British people, Annabel’s Deliciously British have therefore chosen to support the Prince’s Trust, who enable young people to break into the world of work, arming them with the skills necessary to succeed. Every punnet they sell will raise money for the trust which will have a positive impact on a young person’s life.
